Oikonomakis Law Firm had the honor of participating in the celebration of the 52nd National Anniversary of the unification of the United Arab Emirates. The firm was represented by Ms. Penelope Economakis, Head of Business Development, Communications & Marketing.
The event took place on Thursday, November 23, 2023, at the Zappeion Megaro under the auspices of the UAE Embassy. Distinguished attendees included Minister of Development Kostas Skrekas, Minister of Labor and Social Security Adonis Georgiadis, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Kostas Fragogiannis, Chief of the General Staff of National Defense (GEEAAD) Konstantinos Floros, ambassadors from the embassies of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Lebanon, Algeria, and the President of COP28, Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber.
Ambassador Suleiman Hamad Almazrouei of the UAE emphasized the significance of this anniversary and the excellent collaboration between the UAE and Greece. He also addressed the issue of climate change, which will be a focal point at this year’s UN conference in Dubai from November 30 to December 12, leading up to COP28.
