What is Emerging Markets
According to the World Bank definition of emerging/ developing countries, these are the ones with a per capital income of less than $4,035.
Just to elaborate a little more, these are countries investing more in production so as to achieve the much heralded growth. At the same time, their aim is to move away from traditional forms of economy e.g. agriculture, export of raw materials, and approach more industrialized ones, by attempting to embrace a free market logic.
