Marakis Stavros

Occupational Doctor

Stavros was born in Crete, Greece.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery, from the University of Naples Federico II (Seconda Università degli studi di Napoli), Italia.

He holds a specialization in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and has been specializing in Diving and Hyperbaric Medicine (Navy Hospital of Athens), in Advance Life Support (ALS), and as a First Aid Trainer, a First Aid OHS Trainer (RTI) and a First Aid Diving/Hyperbaric Trainer (DAN).

Since 2014, he has been the Head of the Scientific Team in the Medical Institution of Health Care, in Crete, Greece.

In addition, he is a Lecturer in the Postgraduate Program “Public Health”, University of Crete, Greece and he has published numerous dissertations and scientific papers.

He is an active member of the Greek Society of Occupational and Environmental Medicine and the Red Cross in Ierapetra, Greece.

Stavros cooperates with Oikonomakis Law as an Occupational Health and Safety Doctor.

He is a fluent Italian and English speaker.
