It is a fact that the Greek Embassy in the Libyan capital, Tripoli, has been suspended since 31.07.2014, ie for about seven years, at a time when the friendly and neighboring country of nearby Africa has been in turmoil since 2011.
From 2014 and then, after the new outbreak of violence, the Greek embassy, like many other embassies abroad, suspended their operation, Since the Libyan Embassy in Athens remains in operation.
Greece is following with interest the developments in the country and just a few days ago in the most official way welcomed the vote of confidence in the Libyan transitional government of unity(as the lattest received it on 10.03.2021 from the relevant House of Representatives).
In this difficult context, as the “Oikonomakis Christos Global Law Firm” has been formed, it stands as a supporter of every initiative that respectfully seeks to restore dignity, social cohesion, institutions and the rule of law in the afflicted country of Libya by assisting in the services it can provide with its expanded network of lawyers and specialist associates in Greece and abroad.
