Ahmed was born in Cairo, Egypt.

He is a seasoned financial and business advisor with over 30 years of experience in the United Arab Emirates, across both multinational and local organizations. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Helwan University and advanced finance education from Delaware University.

He has extensive expertise in expansion and business setup, with in-depth knowledge of federal and local regulations, including mainland, free zone, and sector-specific compliance requirements. Ahmed has led the establishment of numerous companies and branches, managing end-to-end licensing, banking, structuring, and regulatory approvals.

With strong, long-standing relationships across UAE banks, financial institutions, traders and government and semi-government entities, he effectively handles complex financial and operational  in-country and cross boarder requirements. Known for his hands-on leadership and customer-focused approach, Ahmed combines strategic financial insight with practical execution to support sustainable growth and long-term value creation.

He is currently a business consultant based at the UAE office of Oikonomakis Law.
